Every generation has a chance to make a difference.

Right now we are in an incredibly critical point of time, politically and socially.  The skylark room has always been very forthright and vocal of it's opinions of equality, gender politics, and other LGBTQIA+ related issues, and is of course fully in support of equality and respect for everyone, specifically right now in the context of Marriage equality.   Although very last minute, we found ourselves with an opportunity this Friday to bring together like minded people to help raise funds for the Marriage Equality Australia campaign. who are on the frontlines of a very vicious debate, so whatever we can do to help support and raise awareness for them is worthwhile.
